VKD4Trees continued

Last week, on September 30, we celebrated International Translation Day. For the second year in a row, Germany’s Association of Conference Interpreters, aka VKD ran the VKD4Trees tree-planting project to plant a climate-saving tree for every 5 km its members covered between September 22 and 29.

Once again I was up for the challenge, but as I was away on assignment 4 of 7 days I only covered a total of 54 km this year, which equals 10 trees. All in all, the VKD4Trees project contributed a phenomenal 267 trees - which is 55 more compared to last year! I’m so proud and excited to have been part of this ambitious team once again.
