Noughty but Nice

Now that we're well into the roaring twenties it's time to look back at the beginning of this century and the noughty (or for some even naughty?!) years. With the beginning of the so-called Noughties, digital media and social networks gained worldwide popularity - important first steps without which my blog would never exist . But German readers might know the term "nought" from another expression as well. Whenever you have a decimal number less than 1 (let's say 0.5), the British would pronounce it nought point five. Or maybe you remember the famous paper-and-pencil game Noughts and Crosses (or Tic-Tac-Toe, if you're from the States)?
